Why I'm the person to guide you on this journeyÂ
I’ve spent years understanding how the body truly recovers after pregnancy, because I’ve been there myself, feeling disconnected, unsure where to start, and not quite at home in my body.
I’ve always been active, from fitness classes and the gym to dancing and gymnastics, so after having my baby I expected to quickly feel strong and capable again.
Instead, I was shocked by how disconnected my body felt. I still remember trying a simple core routine on my sofa and realising I couldn’t connect to my deep core muscles at all. I started crying.
As I began feeling stronger, I pushed too hard and trained exactly like I did before pregnancy. Very quickly, I developed lower back and hip pain because the connection still wasn’t there, even though I acted like it was.
That experience made me curious about how to truly work with my body instead of against it. With my second child, I slowed down, listened to my body, focused on my breath and deep core connection, and everything changed. My body recovered with love, at its own pace, and I became stronger without aches and pains.
That’s why I created this bootcamp: for mums who want to recover and build strength with support, care, breath and body connection, and progressive training in a gentle yet challenging way. That’s exactly what the CORE Connection Method is all about.
